Pre-Pharmacy (BS)
Prepare for a health-related career.
At SWU, our Pre-Pharmacy program is more than just a biology or chemistry degree—it’s a pathway specifically designed to fulfill the prerequisite courses for pharmacy school and lay the groundwork for professional studies. You’ll build a strong foundation in the basic sciences while engaging in on-campus research experiences and for-credit internships that help you gain real-world insights.
Our graduates have successfully pursued Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at institutions like Auburn University and Presbyterian College, demonstrating how SWU’s rigorous, faith-integrated approach prepares you for both pharmacy coursework and a meaningful career in the field.
The Pre-Pharmacy (BS) program is approved to receive the Enhanced Scholarship for LIFE Scholarship and Palmetto Fellows.
