Ty the Warrior shows his "TeamSWU" spirit at the new interactive outdoor art installation on campus near Fountain Square. The university's marketing department came up with the design, intended to represent the #TeamSWU hashtag that's used in social media. The Physical Plant team took the design, then cut it out in plate steel and assembled it on campus, just in time for the beginning of the 2018-'19 academic year.
The year 2018 marked significant developments in SWU academics, including the first-ever doctoral program, an Ed.D. and expansion of online programs. We honored an outstanding coach, saluted our military and said goodbye to those who made a lasting impact.
