A call to transform lives

Dec 14, 2007 | Spiritual Life

Dr. John Adams, senior pastor of Easley First Baptist Church, delivered the baccalaureate sermon Dec. 13, 2007 at Folger Fine Arts Auditorium on the Central campus of Southern Wesleyan University.

Adams, a strong supporter of Southern Wesleyan and its mission, recalled childhood memories of gatherings at his grandmother’s house which brought family members of all educational levels and different political affiliations together at the table. He also urged the December graduates to overcome social and political divisions and to invite others to the table that Christ has prepared for all.
