An invitation to the table

Feb 13, 2008 | Spiritual Life
The Rev. John Adams, senior pastor of Easley First Baptist Church, addressed a session of the Southern Area Ministers’ Conference at Southern Wesleyan University, urging his audience to revel in the fact that they are chosen and blessed by God.
Instead of wondering how others will be accepted in their church, Adams asserted that Christians are to invite people, regardless of denomination, ideology or background, to come to the banquet table of Christ and be transformed. Adams was one of the featured speakers at the conference, held Feb. 11 and 12 at the main campus of Southern Wesleyan University in Central.
