Keeping it real – Spiritual Emphasis at SWU

Jan 24, 2012 | Spiritual Life
Luke Jackson challenged and encouraged Southern Wesleyan University students, emphasizing the importance of confessing sins and remaining open to God and one another in their spiritual walk.
Jackson was the speaker for Spiritual Emphasis services Jan. 22-24 at the university’s campus in Central. He is currently serving as the student ministries pastor at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, Thomasville, N.C. A praise team from 12Stone Church, Lawrenceville, Ga., led musical worship. Near the beginning of each semester, Southern Wesleyan conducts spiritual emphasis services, providing a time of spiritual examination and growth.
