Leadership Symposium at SWU

Upstate regional education leaders, education graduate students and chamber of commerce members attended the event, which focused on faith, community, character and calling, exploring how they relate to curriculum reform and higher achievement outcomes in South Carolina public schools. Two international leadership development experts from LeaderSource SGA, Malcolm Webber and Robert Walter, conducted the symposium, held at Founders’ Hall on the university’s campus in Central. McLendon is the associate dean of the School of Education, Shotsberger is the dean of the School of Education and Trudel is the dean of the School of Business.
