Lecture series at SWU features Truesdale

Dr. Albert Truesdale is Southern Wesleyan University’s guest speaker for this year’s the B.H. and Dorothy Phaup Holiness Lecture Series, March 20-21, 2006.
Truesdale is emeritus professor of philosophy of religion and Christian ethics at Nazarene Theological Seminary and an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He has served as pastor, college and seminary professor, academic dean and interim college president. He also maintains membership in The Wesleyan Theological Society and the North American Paul Tillich Society. Truesdale’s articles have been published in “The Preacher’s Magazine,” “The Herald of Holiness,” “Emphasis,” “The Wesleyan Theological Journal” and “The Journal of the American Scientific Affiliation.” His most recent book, “By Cords of Love: Telling the Gospel Story in a Pluralistic World,” a Wesleyan response to religious pluralism, will be published by Beacon Hill Press.
