Ministering to the Bronx

A SWU staff member, student and graduate were part of a week of ministry in the South Bronx area of New York.
ALIVE Wesleyan Church youth recently spent a week in South Bronx, N.Y. The group, which included Deb Nodine, SWU's faculty recruitment coordinator, and incoming SWU student Matt Hayes, ministered to the elderly, encouraged those participating in rehab/detox programs, led a short but greatly enjoyed VBS for families in a local park, and proclaimed Christ through it all. They worked with SWU graduate Kehl Hudson, who was involved in full-time ministry to the area through Joint Urban Missionary Partners (JUMP), but has since returned to S.C.
