One Voice: A Black History Narrative

Jeremiah Dew gives Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech, part of his presentation titled “One Voice: A Black History Narrative,” which combines his performances with video interviews of those involved locally in the Civil Rights movement.
Dew, who spoke in chapel Jan. 21 at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, created “One Voice” out of his desire to introduce these great African-American men and women to a younger generation. Also, Dew is familiar to Greenville Drive fans as the “director of fun and on-field emcee” and to Clemson basketball fans as the “on court hype guy.”
Southern Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered, student-focused learning community devoted to transforming lives by challenging students to be dedicated scholars and servant-leaders who impact the world for Christ. For details about degree programs, go online to swu.edu.
