Southern Wesleyan University focused on Christian missions around the world Nov. 2-5. Pictured is featured speaker Mick Veach, who challenged students to respond to God's call on their lives. "God has called you here for a reason and a purpose to finish his mission," said Veach, who is senior pastor of Stoney Creek Community Church, a Wesleyan church in the Detroit area. He has shared the gospel in more than 40 countries and began a church planting effort among previously unreached people in the Middle East. Students were also able to interact with representatives from various missions-related organizations visiting the university's campus in Central.
