Southern Wesleyan students visit legislators

Southern Wesleyan University students participating were, from left, Tina Collins, a specialized major from Liberty, S.C.; Jeremiah Crosby, a music major from Anderson, S.C.; Moriah Sears, a psychology and English major from Elgin, S.C.; Nadine Carmon, a management major from North Charleston, S.C.; and Len Marshall, a management major from Walterboro, S.C.

The students expressed their gratitude to the S.C. General Assembly for the S.C. Higher Education Tuition Grants Program. South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, a nonprofit organization, sponsored the event.

The students toured the State House and watched the state House of Representatives in action.
