SWU Ed.D. Summer Residency goes virtual

SWU Ed.D. Residency

Doctoral students in Southern Wesleyan University's Ed.D. in curriculum and assessment program took part in a virtual summer residency June 29-July 2 via Zoom. Pictured hosting Zoom sessions are Dr. Tyler Watts, top, and Dr. Paul Shotsberger.

The week-long residency included classes and other curriculum activities focused on developing the student dissertations. Shotsberger has been serving as interim coordinator of the doctoral studies program and is professor of graduate faculty. Watts is assistant professor of education. Other SWU faculty participating in the residency were Dr. Michael Hylen, coordinator of doctoral studies; Dr. Steven Hayduk, professor of psychology and chair of the Social Sciences Division; Dr. Jonathan Sircy, associate professor of English; and Dr. Britt Terry, associate professor of English.
