Southern Wesleyan University has a new student organization, the Human Resources Club. The club meets at Southern Wesleyan’s campus in Central. The purpose of the HR Club is for students to experience the human relations management aspects of business and to explore human relations as a career path. Recently club members organized a debate exploring two opposing sides of the issue of religious discrimination in the workplace. The next meeting, scheduled for April 11, will feature Don Karns, an independent HR and management consultant who is a graduate of the SWU master of business administration program. For details about the club, contact Mahony at (864) 644-5343 or e-mail
