SWU joins in congratulating top teachers

SWU’s Columbia education center recently sponsored the Education Rocks! 2013 Teachers of the Year Recognition Reception. Dr. Lillie Lewis, professor of education, is pictured with Barbara Specter and Dennis Scheidt of SWU's Columbia education center.
Each spring, the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Midlands Education and Business Alliance (MEBA), hosts the annual event that recognizes top teachers from 11 South Carolina school districts. The Midlands Business and Education Alliance works to connect students, parents, educators and employers to education and career opportunities in the Midlands.
