SWU welcomes champion ballplayers

Members of Germany District 2, the Europe - Africa champion team, settled into housing at Southern Wesleyan University in Central this past Monday in preparation for the Big League World Series, taking place July 24-31 in Easley.
The university welcomed nearly 300 baseball players in teams from across the nation and around the world. Southern Wesleyan has provided housing, meals and practice facilities since the competition first came to Easley in 2001.
