Southern Wesleyan University sponsored a morning for Southern area Wesleyan teens to showcase their talents and win scholarship funds as part of the Teens-N-Talent (or TNT) scholarship program. TNT is sponsored by The Wesleyan Church and teens attended from across the region. Competition categories included instrumental, object lesson, literature, group ensembles, art, voice, puppetry, praise band and choir. Southern Wesleyan University alumnus Butch King, pastor of Brevard Wesleyan Church in Brevard, N.C., directed the competition. The program attracted 105 participants and $49,700 in scholarship funds were awarded.
