IT Support for Faculty & Staff

The Information Technology (IT) department provides technical support to all academic and administrative PC users. This includes the campus network infrastructure and equipment, university-approved software, and telecommunication equipment and services. Faculty and Staff are encouraged to contact the help desk with hardware, network and university-approved software issues.

When placing a call users should be prepared to provide the SWU ID number, located on each piece of the equipment, their name, telephone number, department and a detailed description of the problem. The help desk staff will generate a work order and assign a work order number. E-mail notification will be sent to the caller when possible. Users should reference the work order number when checking the status of the work order.
